SCC response to seaplanes

I sent an email asking Suffolk County Council to consider developing seaplane infrastructure and I got this reply:

Dear Mr Bocking,

I have been asked to respond to your email. Thank you for your interesting suggestion for the use of seaplanes for passenger movement in Suffolk. You may be aware local government is currently under considerable funding pressure and therefore the county council has limited capacity to undertake transport study work.

I regret therefore that it will not be possible for the council to fund any feasibility work into the potential use of seaplanes at present.   I would, however, be interested in the results of any work that does take place.

Regards
